Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Filler Operator! You will be responsible for operating a bottling filler for a local bottling company that specializes in water, tea, and juices.

Full Time

Temp to Hire

$16/hr

Day Shift: 2am- 11:30pm

Swing Shift: 11:30am- 8:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Operate bottling line
  • Oversee all processes in the filler
  • Able to obtain a cannery license by California Department of Public Health after 4-6 weeks of training
  • Able to troubleshoot and fix high and low fills with bottling equipment
  • Recognize low fills and improperly filled product. Be detail oriented
  • Ensure quality of the finished product is up to par with Quality Standards
  • Attendance and punctuality – doing everything possible to ensure the bottling schedule stays on track
  • Know proper and safe operations of every part the filler. Follow all safety rules
  • Be able to locate Start and Stop buttons including emergency stops on the filler
  • Work as a team
  • Ensure the cleanliness of all bottling equipment
  • Communicate with management immediately of any process and or filler problems, or malfunction
  • Deal with all problems in a calm professional manner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cannery license by California Department of Public Health
  • Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement
  • Previous experience as filler operator in an industrial/plant operation. Experience with a rotary pressure/counter pressure filler
  • Previous experience in the beverage industry
