We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to support our production team in the safe handling of ingredients for our food products. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating forklifts and knowledgeable in temperature monitoring, thawing, and defrosting processes to maintain product quality and safety standards.

Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri, Temp-to-hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move raw materials, ingredients, and finished goods between storage, production, and shipping areas.
• Monitor and record product temperatures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in the controlled defrosting process of frozen ingredients to meet production schedules.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring product integrity and preventing damage.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and maintain forklift equipment in safe working condition.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance protocols.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement logs.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure ingredients are staged and ready on time.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of forklift operating experience (stand-up or sit-down).
• Experience in food manufacturing or cold storage environments preferred.
• Knowledge of temperature monitoring equipment and thawing/defrosting procedures.
• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
• Strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
• Ability to work in cold or refrigerated environments.
