We are seeking a professional and experienced Front Office Staff member to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in a dental office, be familiar with insurance companies, and proficient in Dentrix dental software. This role requires someone who is presentable, adheres to a business professional dress code, and has no visible tattoos or piercings on the face.
Location: Moor Park, CA
Position Type: Part-Time (32 hours per week with occasional Fridays)
Pay Rate: $20-25/hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage front office operations, including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, and maintaining patient records.
- Liaise with insurance companies to verify patient benefits, submit claims, and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Utilize Dentrix dental software for patient scheduling, billing, and record-keeping.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Handle patient inquiries, both in-person and over the phone, in a professional manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a dental office.
- Proficiency with Dentrix dental software is required.
- Familiarity with dental insurance processes and claims.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and demeanor; must adhere to business professional dress code with no visible facial tattoos or piercings.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused attitude.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (32 hours per week)
- Occasional Fridays for emergency cases, with overtime available if necessary.
Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a drug and background check.
- One-time 4-hour guarantee for the initial trial period.
