Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist with a background in Manufacturing, Accounts Payable, and Shipping to join a family-owned and operated business. This is a temp-to-hire position with a Monday-Friday schedule from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors at the front desk, announce and direct them accordingly.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Communicate with suppliers to handle invoicing and payment queries.
  • Attach appropriate documentation to invoices and reconcile purchase orders.
  • Post invoices, credit notes, and ensure proper coding in the system.
  • Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Resolve external and internal queries via phone and email.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures in accounts payable activities.
  • Receive, register, and distribute deliveries, packages, and letters within the company.
  • Handle issues related to shipping or inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental management systems.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple platforms and multitask effectively.
  • Problem solver with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing, accounts payable, and shipping.
  • Ability to manage both internal and external queries.

Hiring Requirements:

  • Valid identification proving the right to work in the United States.
  • Candidates may need to pass a drug screen and background check.

Compensation

$17.00 - $26.00Per Hour
