Fresno, CA | Full-Time, Temp-to-hire | Processing Supervisor  

Position Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Processing Supervisor with experience in food manufacturing, equipment operation, sanitation, and basic mechanical maintenance. This position will oversee daily processing activities while actively working alongside a small team to ensure equipment is operating properly, production runs smoothly, and food safety and sanitation standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and participate in daily processing and production activities.
• Operate processing equipment throughout the shift, including properly starting, stopping, and monitoring equipment.
• Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure proper operation and product quality.
• Assist with daily sanitation and cleaning of processing equipment and production areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, GMP, and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
• Assist with basic mechanical repairs, including changing belts, bearings, and other equipment components.
• Work hands-on alongside the sanitation employee to complete daily processing, sanitation, and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
• Ensure equipment is properly cleaned, inspected, and ready for production.
• Assist with extended production or 24-hour cook days when required.
• Provide direction and support to the sanitation employee and help ensure daily tasks are completed.
• Perform other processing, equipment, sanitation, and maintenance duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food processing, food manufacturing, grain, or milling operations preferred.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience required.
• Experience operating processing or production equipment.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and GMP requirements.
• Basic mechanical and maintenance skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and food processing procedures.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Ability to work flexible hours and extended shifts when production requires.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Pay Rate: $25/HR
• Schedule: 2PM-12:30AM, temp-to-hire
• Location: Fresno, CA 93720
