Exact Staff is hiring for our client, a leading manufacturer of aerospace sensors, accelerometers, and precision electronic components used to measure force, pressure, and vibration in aircraft systems.
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to support receiving, in-process, and final inspections of electronic and mechanical products. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products meet customer specifications, industry standards, and aerospace quality requirements.

Responsibilities
- Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of electronic and mechanical components
- Inspect parts and assemblies to verify compliance with electromechanical specifications and work instructions
- Inspect PCB assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD requirements
- Inspect welded assemblies using engineering drawings and specifications
- Perform dimensional inspections on machined parts using calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and pin gauges
- Conduct final inspections to verify product quality, labeling, certifications, and documentation
- Document non-conforming materials and products
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions
- Complete inspection reports, quality records, and system documentation
- Maintain compliance with aerospace quality standards and company procedures
- Perform additional quality-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent technical training
- 3–5 years of Quality Assurance Inspection experience within electronics manufacturing
- Current or previous IPC-A-610, IPC-620, or J-STD certification preferred
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and quality documentation
- Experience using inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, microscopes, and related measuring instruments
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality management systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment
Pay, Schedule, and Location
Location: Chatsworth, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
