Exact Staff is seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to support daily facility operations at Crenshaw Imperial Plaza in Inglewood, CA. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for assisting with facility maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and the supervision of maintenance and custodial staff. This is a steady, full-time opportunity with weekly pay in a fast-paced facilities environment.

This position is ideal for individuals with janitorial, facilities maintenance, or supervisory/leadership experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with daily facility operations, maintenance, and preventive maintenance
• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs, including painting, drywall, doors, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, and furniture
• Conduct routine facility inspections and identify maintenance, safety, or repair needs
• Coordinate with outside vendors for larger repairs, maintenance projects, and services
• Assist with scheduling, training, supervision, and performance monitoring of maintenance and custodial staff
• Maintain safety records and ensure OSHA and company safety standards are followed
• Respond professionally to client and service concerns; communicate effectively with clients, staff, vendors, and management
• Use Microsoft Office, scheduling applications, and cleaning/maintenance software for reporting, scheduling, and documentation
• Assist with exterior and grounds maintenance as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of janitorial and/or maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge of general mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel between locations as needed
• Spanish bilingual skills preferred but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely use a ladder
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Must successfully pass a LiveScan background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening

Pay, Schedule, and Location:

• Pay Rate: $19.00/hour, DOE
• Schedule: Full-Time
  • Wednesday–Thursday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Friday–Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Location: Inglewood, CA 90303
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
