Job Description:
Our client is a long-established property management firm with multiple commercial holdings here in California. We are seeking a smart and diligent assistant who will work with the Property Manager and will be trained to be a Property Manager themselves in the future.
You will be responsible for providing support in tenant relations, coordinating appointments with tenants and customers, and following up on leasing agreements. You will also work with accounting to track financials.
You will also be responsible for:
- Supporting the leasing efforts, which include everything from conducting tours of the property, processing applications, and preparing the agreements.
- Responding to inquiries from tenants
- Coordinate the maintenance requests from the portal to the teams.
- Maintain the tenant files and property records.
- Other duties as needed.
The goal of this position is that you will be trained to be a Property Manager yourself.
This is a full-time, temp to hire position. First shift, from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.

This is what we will be looking for in your candidacy:
- You have a high school diploma or a higher level of education.
- Preferably, you have at least 1-2 years of previous property management experience. Extra training will be provided, of course.
- You are proficient with property management software, such as Yardi, AppFolio, or RealPage
- You are experienced with MS Office products, such as Word and Excel
- You have a strong desire to learn all aspects of property management
- A big plus if you have facilities or handyman experience.
- You are familiar with insurance billing guidelines.
- You possess a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- You can multitask when needed.
