Job Description:

Our client is one of the top, long-running tire and auto repair providers in the United States. We are searching for a top-tier Auto Mechanic to join our client’s repair shop, located in the city of Woodway, TX.

This is a traditional mechanic position. You will be responsible for working with the team to perform mechanical repairs, which includes but not limited to brakes, alignments, fluid exchanges, steering and suspension repair and even replacing various components, like belts and radiators.

You will also:

·         Work with the service manager to identify the problems with the vehicle

·         Help drive the vehicle from outside into the garage

·         Open the hood and do a visual inspection of any other additional issues as needed

·         Work with the inventory team to make sure all supplies are restocked

·         Ensure all tools are placed in the right spots when your day ends

·         Help perform tests on the car to make sure everything is working

·         Other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time, direct hire position, first shift, from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

This is what we will be looking for in your candidacy:

·         You have at least 1.5-2 years of experience at an automotive repair shop

·         You know how to perform suspension repair, brake services, and basic-under-hood services.

·         You have a consistent work history, you have no more than 3 months of unemployment

·         You must have a valid driver's license that is insurable under our client’s insurance

·         You must not have a DUI or more than two moving violations within the last 3 years.

·         You are punctual and can arrive on time to the location as needed

·         You respond quickly to changing circumstances

·         You can keep your workstation organized.

·         You can lift to 70lbs, when needed
