Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and friendly Back Office Medical Staff member to join our pediatric team. The ideal candidate is honest, hardworking, dependable, and family-oriented, with a strong ability to work in a teamwork environment with children and their parents. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
Location: Simi Valley, CA
Position Type: Part-Time (2-3 days per week, 16 hours per week, with
potential for more hours)- DIRECT HIRE POSITION
Starting Pay: $23/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examinations, ensuring they are comfortable and informed.
- Measure vital signs including height, weight, head circumference, temperature, blood pressure, and SpO2.
- Administer appropriate vaccinations to pediatric patients.
- Perform hearing tests and Snellen eye exams.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, including stocking necessary supplies.
- Answer phone calls, triage patient needs, and schedule appointments as needed.
- Conduct blood sampling (Hemoglobin) and urinalyses.
- Order and manage medical supplies inventory.
- Perform i-screen vision exams.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish (required).
- Experience in pediatric care, with the ability to work comfortably with babies and children.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience in a medical setting, particularly in pediatric care, is highly preferred.
