Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator – Now Hiring
Exact Staff is hiring for our client in Gardena for an experienced Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator to support financial operations in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for someone with strong experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and inventory-related accounting.
Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Pay: $30.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Location: Gardena, CA 90248
- Position Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Responsibilities / Qualifications
As a Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator, you will:
- Manage accounts receivable, including payment application, reconciliations, and collections
- Process accounts payable, including vendor invoices, 3-way matching, and expense coding
- Track freight, logistics, and inventory-related charges
- Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including overtime and deductions
- Validate timekeeping records and maintain accurate payroll records
- Assist with inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and cost tracking
- Investigate discrepancies between system records and physical counts
- Maintain general ledger entries and perform bank and sub-ledger reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
- Assist with audits and support internal control compliance
We’re looking for a Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator who:
- Has 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (manufacturing or distribution preferred)
- Has strong knowledge of AR/AP processes and payroll administration
- Understands inventory accounting and cost tracking
- Has experience with accounting or ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP
- Is proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data organization
- Can manage high transaction volumes with strong attention to detail
- Has knowledge of freight, logistics, or cost accounting principles (a plus)
- Holds an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
