Oxnard, CA | Full-Time | First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Exact Staff is hiring an experienced CNC Machinist to join our client's team in Oxnard, CA. The ideal candidate has experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes, reading blueprints, making machine adjustments, and performing precision inspections. Strong attention to detail, mechanical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality are required. This is a steady, full-time opportunity with weekly pay in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment.

This position is ideal for individuals with CNC machining, precision manufacturing, or job-shop experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and machining centers
• Read blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
• Set tools, offsets, and fixtures
• Load and adjust CNC programs and G-code
• Monitor machines and make adjustments to maintain part quality and accuracy
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues
• Change cutting tools and inserts as needed
• Maintain proper feeds, speeds, and machine settings
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
• Keep the work area clean and organized

Qualifications:

• Previous CNC Machinist experience required
• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
• Knowledge of G-code, tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and meet quality and production goals
• Reliable attendance and attention to detail
• Preferred: CNC program editing
• Preferred: GD&T knowledge
• Preferred: CAM software experience
• Preferred: precision machining or job-shop experience
• Preferred: technical school or machining certification

Pay, Schedule, and Location:

• Pay Rate: $22.00–$26.00/hour, DOE
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
• Shifts Available: First Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Location: Oxnard, CA
