Oxnard, CA | Full-Time | First Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

Exact Staff is hiring an experienced CNC Programmer with strong programming expertise in CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and/or EDM machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. This is a steady, full-time opportunity with weekly pay in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment.

This position is ideal for individuals with CNC programming, precision machining, or job-shop experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, and machining centers
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
• Set tool offsets, work offsets, fixtures, and cutting tools
• Load, verify, and make adjustments to CNC programs/G-code
• Monitor machines and make adjustments to maintain tight tolerance and part quality
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and precision measuring equipment
• Troubleshoot tooling, dimensional, machining, and surface-finish issues
• Change cutting tools and inserts as needed
• Maintain proper feeds, speeds, and machining parameters
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a CNC Programmer
• Proven experience programming CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and/or EDM machines
• Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, CNC controls, tooling, offsets, feeds, and speeds
• Experience with CAM programming software
• Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD models
• Experience programming tight-tolerance and precision-machined components
• Strong understanding of machining processes and CNC programming techniques
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize CNC programs independently
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

Pay, Schedule, and Location:

• Pay Rate: $22.00–$26.00/hour, DOE
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
• Shifts Available: First Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Location: Oxnard, CA
