Exact Staff is hiring for our client, a respected aerospace electronics manufacturer specializing in accelerometers, electrical sensors, pressure switches, vibration switches, and precision electronic components used in critical aerospace applications.
We are seeking a skilled Calibration Technician to support production and quality operations through the calibration, testing, and validation of electronic sensors and measurement devices. Responsibilities
- Perform calibration and recalibration of accelerometers, pressure sensors, force sensors, and related electronic devices
- Support production teams in meeting daily manufacturing and testing requirements
- Measure, calculate, and verify component values to ensure product accuracy
- Collaborate with production assemblers to assign and validate component values
- Perform testing procedures according to engineering travelers and test instructions
- Conduct specialized testing including drop shock, high-G testing, phase response, hermeticity, temperature coefficient (T.C.), bias, and sensitivity testing
- Operate and maintain electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and frequency generators
- Accurately document test results and calibration records
- Assist with training and mentoring less experienced technicians as needed
- Follow quality standards, safety procedures, and aerospace manufacturing requirements
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electronics or related technical/vocational field
- 1–3 years of calibration, electronics testing, or related technical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong understanding of electronic principles, including Ohm's Law, resistance, frequency, AC/DC voltage, and signal measurement
- Experience using oscilloscopes, voltmeters, frequency generators, and other electronic test equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 17025 quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a production environment
Pay, Schedule, and Location
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
