Our client is a reputable Country Club in beautiful Rancho Palos Verdes,
seeking a highly skilled and passionate Tournant Chef to join
their prestigious culinary team.
This role requires a skilled chef, who can seamlessly run multiple kitchen
stations and have mastery of different techniques as a Saucier, Poissonneir,
Friturier, Garde Manager, Gillardian, Rotisseur, and Entremetier.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience working with different
cuisines and techniques, a strong work ethic, and the ability to mentor and
guide junior cooks while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and
cleanliness.

Shift: Open availability required (flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays)
Pay Rate: $23-25/hr
Tournant Chef Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute dishes to the highest standards under the direction of the Executive Chef.
- Operate all kitchen stations effectively, including fish, grill, sauces, cold food preparation, and more.
- Mentor and train junior cooks, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
- Assist in food prep, inventory management, and special member requests as needed.
- Ensure food quality, portion control, and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with all kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and efficiency.
Tournant Chef Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in fine-dining kitchens.
- Culinary degree preferred.
- Expertise in multiple kitchen stations, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm, composed demeanor.
- Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and kitchen equipment handling.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions.
- CA Food Handlers Certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid identification that proves your right to work in the United States
- As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check.
