We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Cook / Production Associate to join our team in an industrial food production environment. This role follows a rotating schedule, with one week per month dedicated to cooking and the remaining three weeks focused on production tasks such as packaging and filling products. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and can easily transition between kitchen and production duties.

• Location: Ventura, CA
• Pay: $17/hour

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday
• 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (4/10 schedule)

Key Responsibilities:

Cooking Duties (1 week per month):

• Prepare and cook large-batch food items following standardized recipes
• Operate industrial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor cooking times, temperatures, and product consistency
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace

Production Duties (3 weeks per month):

• Package and fill food products accurately and efficiently
• Label, seal, and prepare products for distribution
• Work on a production line and meet daily production goals
• Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety procedures
• Keep production areas clean and organized

Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial cooking, food production, or commercial kitchen preferred
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
• Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods 
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; Spanish-only candidates are welcome
