Job Description:
Our client is a major distributor for the medical technology field, specifically, in spare parts used to repair MRI and CT scan machines. We are seeking a diligent and smart Customer Service Administrator to join our client's office, located in the city of Simi Valley, CA.
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. First shift, from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Monday to Friday.
This position is a combination of customer service and order entry. You will be responsible for fulfilling customer orders, entering them into their system accurately, and working with delivery and logistics to ensure that the order is completed promptly.
You will also:
- Become a product expert in our client's services, and provide cost-effective solutions to potential clients signing up for their logistics expertise
- Answer customer inquiries about the products and services provided
- Negotiate and enter customer RMAs, as well as other changes to the production schedule
- Handle any carrier issues that come up
- Manage blanket purchase orders with the purchasing department
- Confirm the proof-of-delivery/delivery times, and send those times to the client(s)
- Maintain the best available freight rates for all lanes with current and potential vendors and brokers.
- Send weekly and monthly reports to management.
- Measure performance utilizing data from the customer's KPIs, and come up with solutions to improve performance metrics.
This is what we will be looking for in your candidacy:
- You have a degree in Marketing, Logistics, or something similar.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in B2B Customer Service and/or logistics or operations.
- You have experience with Acumatica, QuickBooks Enterprise, or any other related ERP software.
- You can learn quickly. You will be asked to adapt to changing circumstances.
- You are proficient in MS Office products, like Word or Excel
- Preferably, you are bilingual in English and Spanish
- You are organized and can keep tabs on multiple projects simultaneously
- You are looking for a long-term career and want to grow with our client.
