Job Description:

A museum in Atwater is currently seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Customer Service Representative / Receptionist to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with the public in a welcoming and fast-paced environment. This is a dual-role position involving both customer service and front desk responsibilities. The selected candidate will assist guests in the gift shop, operate the cash register, recommend products, and occasionally support the front entrance by checking in visitors and handling ticketing duties.

  • Schedule: Part-time, rotating schedules, weekend availability

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to museum guests
  • Assist customers with gift shop purchases and product recommendations
  • Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Check in guests and assist with ticketing when needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Support daily museum operations as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service or receptionist experience preferred
  • Comfortable handling cash and processing transactions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, professional, and reliable attitude
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends as needed
