Job Description:

Our client is an established dental practice, that is looking to grow their operations. We are seeking a smart and diligent Dental Receptionist to join our client’s office, located in Moorpark CA.

Hours: This is a Part-Time position, Monday to Thursday, from 9 am to 6 pm. Keep in mind that you may find yourself working on Friday on Occasion. 

Description: As the Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for greeting guests as they come in for their appointments, maintaining patient records, and other clerical duties as needed.

You will also:

·         Schedule appointments promptly, as well as send follow-up/reminder calls to patients.

·         Welcome patients when they arrive, check them in, and provide the paperwork needed for their appointment

·         Answer the phones

·         Importantly, you are verifying patient insurance information, calling up the insurance company, providing their insurance information, and checking to see if the insurance covers the necessary appointment

·         Address any patient concerns that come up

·         Order office supplies

·         Communicate with the hygienists, dentists, and other staff to coordinate the goings on in the office

·         Other clerical duties as assigned.

Our client uses a software called Dentrix to organize all of their appointments and patient information. You MUST have experience in using this software to be considered.

Qualifications for this position include:

·         You have at least 1-3 years of previous experience in a dentist's office, as a receptionist or as an administrator

·         You know how to use the software called Dentrix

·         You are proficient in verifying Dental Insurance policies

·         You know how to address patient concerns, reschedule, and conduct the necessary follow-up

·         You have great phone skills, and you respond to inquiries promptly

·         You know how to manage appointments, schedule appointments, and make reminder calls

·         You are proficient in MS Office products like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

·         Preferably, you are bilingual in English and Spanish
