Job Description:

Exact Staff is hiring for our client, a respected private hospital in Boyle Heights, seeking compassionate and dependable Dietary Aides to join their nutrition department.

  • Location: Boyle Heights, CA
  • Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (DOE)
  • Schedule: Full-Time | Sunday – Wednesday | 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Days Off: Thursday & Friday

This Dietary Aide position plays an essential role in supporting patient health by preparing and delivering meals that meet specific medical and dietary requirements. If you have experience in healthcare food service, hospital nutrition, or dietary support and are passionate about patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Dietary Aide Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals according to prescribed dietary guidelines
  • Ensure food portions and presentation meet hospital standards
  • Deliver meals to patients and provide courteous service
  • Communicate dietary information to patients and families as needed
  • Collaborate with dietitians and nutritionists regarding special diets and restrictions
  • Maintain strict kitchen safety and sanitation standards
  • Properly clean and disinfect kitchen equipment and work areas
  • Monitor food inventory and report supply needs

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience as a Dietary Aide, food service worker, or hospital nutrition support
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions, food allergies, and modified diets
  • Experience with patient charting or documentation
  • Understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
