As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by effectively coordinating our plumbing technicians and providing exceptional customer service.

 

Shift: 8:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday – Friday, Some OT Saturday

Location: Fresno, California

Responsibilities:

·         Receive incoming service requests from customers via phone, email, or online platforms.

·         Prioritize and schedule plumbing service appointments based on urgency, technician availability, and customer preferences.

·         Communicate with plumbing technicians to assign and dispatch jobs efficiently.

·         Provide clear and accurate job details, directions, and instructions to technicians to ensure timely arrivals.

·         Maintain constant communication with technicians to track job progress, address any issues, and make adjustments as needed.

·         Monitor and update the status of ongoing jobs, ensuring that customers are kept informed about their service appointments.

·         Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and rescheduling requests with professionalism and empathy.

·         Collaborate with other dispatchers and administrative staff to optimize scheduling and resource allocation.

·         Record and maintain accurate records of job details, technician availability, and customer interactions in the company's dispatching software.

·         Assist in maintaining an organized and up-to-date schedule board for plumbing technicians.

·         Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and industry developments.

 

Requirements:

·         High school diploma or equivalent; relevant post-secondary education is a plus.

·         Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

·         This candidate must have construction background office or Property Management office EXP.

·         Proven experience in a dispatcher role, preferably within the plumbing or service industry.

·         Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centric approach.

·         Proficiency in using dispatching software, scheduling tools, and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

·         Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities, especially under pressure.

·         Familiarity with Fresno and surrounding areas to provide accurate directions to plumbing technicians.

·         Ability to remain calm and composed while handling customer inquiries and resolving issues.

·         Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends, to ensure round-the-clock coverage.
