Job Description:

Our client is a top innovator, designer, and manufacturer of sensors, accelerometers, and other associated electronics, specifically for measuring pressure, vibration, and other forces. We are searching for smart and diligent Electro-Mechanical Assemblers to join our client's main operation, located in the city of Chatsworth, CA.

As the Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling from sub-assembly to the finished unit, in accordance with blueprints, drawings, travelers, and manufacturing procedures.

You will also:

  • Operate standard shop equipment, which includes soldering irons, microscopes, ovens, and ultrasonic cleaners
  • Rework improperly functioning units
  • Communicate with the calibration department to make sure assemblies are accurate and they properly function
  • Soldering parts, according to the assembly drawings provided.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. First shift, from 6:15 am to 4:45 pm. Monday to Thursday. This is known as a 4/10 schedule; therefore, you will have Fridays off

This is what we will be looking for in your candidacy:

  • You have at least 1-2 years of previous Electro-Mechanical assembly experience
  • You are able to read and understand engineering and assembly drawings
  • You have a good mechanical aptitude
  • You are open to training, and you can learn new skills easily.
  • You have great communication skills
  • Preferably, you have a soldering certification, either J-STD C or IPC-610.
  • You must be local to the area.
