Job Description:

We are seeking a detail oriented Electronic Claims Processor to join our clients Medical team in Bakersfield, CA. You will manage and process electronic medical claims efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of billing practices for Medicare and commercial insurance providers, along with hands-on experience in patient account management.

Temp to Hire

Monday- Friday 8am-5pm

Pay Rate: $21.00/Hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process electronic claims submissions in a timely and accurate manner
  • Review claims for errors and ensure compliance with payer requirements
  • Follow up on rejections, denials, and unpaid claims
  • Communicate with payers to resolve billing issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of claims activity
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve patient billing inquiries

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in patient accounts
  • Experience with Medicare and commercial physician billing required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of medical billing software and claim submission platforms
