Job Description:

Under general supervision, the Electronics Assembly & Test Technician (Assembler II) performs detailed assembly of electronic components and circuit boards while ensuring all products meet established quality standards. This role requires precision, strong attention to detail, and familiarity with IPC electronic standards. The position involves close-up work, inspection, testing, and labeling of assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


  • Electronics Assembly & Test Technician (Assembler II)
  • Location: Roseville, CA
  • Pay: $19.06/hour
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic components and/or circuit boards following standardized procedures and work instructions
  • Program, test, and troubleshoot assemblies to ensure functionality and quality
  • Perform soldering in accordance with IPC specifications
  • Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, defects, and compliance with quality standards
  • Package and label finished products according to company requirements
  • Assist other departments with programming, testing, packaging, and labeling tasks as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in electronic assembly, preferably with circuit board inspection and assembly
  • Working knowledge of IPC standards and soldering techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain speed and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of business software
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use sound judgment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to production equipment and forklifts
  • May be exposed to noise, elevated temperatures, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles
  • Requires adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Frequent use of hands for assembling small components requiring fine motor skills
  • Ability to view detailed work and computer screens for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds
