We are currently hiring skilled EHS Technicians for a well-known facility in Arvin, CA.

You will support Environmental, Health, and Safety programs by conducting inspections, delivering training, and helping ensure compliance with regulatory and company safety standards. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work independently and with a team, and flexibility to travel to different facilities as needed.

Temp to Hire
Shift: 8:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Pay Rate: $26.00/HR

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and observations to ensure compliance with EHS policies and regulations
  
• Assist with implementing and following up on EHS programs, procedures, and corrective actions
  
• Present training materials on topics such as hazard communication, emergency procedures, and OSHA-related programs
  
• Support environmental compliance activities (waste management, spill response, recordkeeping)
  
• Maintain accurate EHS documentation and reports using Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic data-entry tools
  
• Participate in incident reporting, investigations, and root-cause analysis
  
• Communicate safety expectations clearly to employees at all levels
  
• Assist in coordinating safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training
  
• Travel to multiple company facilities as required
  
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce adherence to safety standards

Qualifications:

• Education, courses, or certificates in EHS (examples: OSHA 10/30, POSH, HAZCOM, etc.)
  
• Experience in Environmental, Health & Safety roles
  
• Experience presenting training materials
  
• Must be bilingual in English & Spanish
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work independently and within a team
  
• Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general computer use
  
• Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record
  
• Ability to travel to different facilities as required
