Exact Staff is hiring a Equipment Operator/Production Assistant to support a manufacturing company by setting up and operating production equipment, preparing materials, and ensuring products meet quality standards. The role involves monitoring production processes, recording data, performing basic maintenance, and identifying issues to minimize downtime. 

 

Equipment Operator/ Production Assistant

Location: Ventura, CA
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

 

Responsibilities:

• Supported high-volume production operations by assisting with equipment setup, material preparation, and workflow coordination to meet tight deadlines
• Executed job specifications and work instructions with a high level of accuracy, ensuring consistent production output
• Tracked and recorded production data (run times, counts, downtime) using digital systems
• Performed quality checks and worked with QC teams to maintain product standards and reduce defects
• Identified and escalated equipment or print issues to minimize downtime
• Assisted with preventive maintenance, cleaning, and equipment changeovers
• Maintained a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborated with team members and leadership to meet production goals

 

Qualifications:

• Bilingual preferred
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and production workflows
• Familiarity with quality control standards and documentation practices
• Experience using digital tools, scanners, and production tracking systems
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Basic math skills for measurements and production calculations
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
