Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Extrusion Machine Mechanic to perform mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting on extrusion and production equipment. This role supports plant operations and minimizes downtime.
Must have own tools and toolbox.
- Location: Woodland Ca 95776
- Pay: $32.73/hr DOE
- Journeyman Rate: $35.44 – $40.71/hr
- Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain extrusion and production machinery
- Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues
- Assist production with equipment problems
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed
- Install, modify, and build equipment and tooling
- Maintain work orders, PM logs, and maintenance records
- Follow safety procedures and keep work area clean
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Electrical certifications a plus (higher pay available)
