Exact Staff is hiring an experienced and dependable Field Supervisor to oversee janitorial operations across multiple Southern California locations. This is an active, hands-on leadership position with a company-provided vehicle for daily travel (approximately 75 miles per day) between client sites in Los Angeles and Orange County. You’ll supervise employees, conduct inspections, maintain service quality, and build strong client relationships. The ideal candidate has extensive janitorial experience, previous supervisory experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple locations independently. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with weekly pay.

This position is ideal for individuals with janitorial leadership, facilities supervision, or multi-site operations experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate janitorial employees across multiple locations
• Create employee schedules and ensure appropriate staffing and site coverage
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, uniforms, and overall job performance
• Address employee concerns and coordinate vacation requests and on-call coverage
• Conduct annual performance reviews and implement improvement plans when necessary
• Oversee school floor crews during summer operations
• Work one weekend per month at designated seven-day accounts
• Travel between assigned locations throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, approximately 75 miles per day
• Visit assigned sites 2-3 times per week and complete scheduled quality-control inspections
• Conduct two inspections per location each month using CompuClean
• Identify and resolve cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and service concerns
• Meet with clients weekly or biweekly to review service quality and address concerns
• Respond to client issues promptly and maintain positive working relationships
• Review and submit accurate weekly or biweekly timesheets and payroll information
• Monitor overtime, meal-period premiums, and contracted hours
• Maintain employee schedules, attendance records, training documentation, and personnel rosters
• Use Microsoft Office, scheduling software, timekeeping systems, and mobile applications
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control operating costs
• Monitor inventory, supply usage, and equipment needs across assigned locations
• Order and distribute supplies and equipment while maintaining budget controls
• Coordinate weekly collection of soiled rags and replenishment of clean linens
• Enforce company policies, cleaning procedures, and workplace safety requirements
• Conduct monthly employee training on the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Ensure employees follow uniform and dress-code requirements
• Monitor company vehicle condition, report maintenance issues, and maintain monthly mileage records
• Report workplace injuries to HR within 24 hours

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of janitorial experience
• At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred
• Spanish/English bilingual strongly preferred
• Experience with employee scheduling, payroll, timekeeping, and staff supervision
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to travel approximately 75 miles daily throughout Los Angeles and Orange County
• Comfortable driving during daytime and occasional evening hours
• Ability to work occasional weekends, evenings, and split shifts
• Must complete required DOJ and FBI Live Scan background screening and pre-employment drug/alcohol testing; periodic testing may also be required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift up to 25 lbs, and climb ladders when necessary
• Comfortable in indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to dust, dirt, cleaning chemicals, and disinfectants

Pay, Schedule, and Location:

• Pay Rate: $30.00/hour
• Schedule: Full-Time; occasional weekends, evenings, and split shifts
• Location: Field-based, Los Angeles & Orange County, CA
