We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Filler Operator to join our production team. Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Filler Operator will set up, operate, and monitor pouch and tub filler machines. This role ensures accurate documentation, product quality, and compliance with company safety and food safety standards (GMPs, HACCP).

 
Shift: 3RD Shift, Mon-Fri (Some Saturdays)

 

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and complete required paperwork for scheduled production runs.
• Load and verify proper pouches and caps or cups and film for each product.
• Complete preoperational startup checklists.
• Enter batch information and lot numbers into Safety Chain (pouch lines).
• Monitor and adjust fill volume and torque settings (for pouch caps).
• Ensure product weights are within specifications and codes are accurate and legible.
• Track downtime and report machine issues to supervisors.
• Record waste and yield loss throughout the shift.
• Communicate any production or food safety concerns to Supervisors and Maintenance.
• Follow all GMPs, food safety, and safety procedures at all times.
• Do not falsify records; maintain accurate time and production data.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or packaging environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
• Comfortable working around machinery and standing for long periods.
• Attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
• Must follow safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain clean work habits.
