Job Description:
This position is located in a cold and wet processing environment, with temperatures consistently ranging from 34°F–40°F year-round. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions.
- Willingness to learn how to operate an electric pallet jack
- Steel-toe, safety-toe, or composite slip- and water-resistant boots are required
Monday–Friday | Start time: 8:00 AM
End time varies based on workload, typically between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM
On rare occasions, shifts may extend up to 8:00 PM
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of warehouse experience preferred (minimum 1 year required)
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Basic math skills
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, standing for extended periods, and working in confined spaces
- Ability to work safely with sharp tools and instruments
- Produce knowledge or prior experience in a food processing facility is a plus
Responsibilities
- Process fresh-cut orders, including cutting and packaging produce for next-day delivery
- Ensure the processing room is clean and properly sanitized at the start of each shift
- Accurately process orders entered into the system
- Create and apply product labels for outgoing shipments
- Package and prepare products to ensure on-time delivery
- Maintain all product quality and safety standards
- Follow all company safety rules and procedures
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor
