Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator with cycle counting experience to support warehouse operations in a baby food production facility in Sanger, CA. This role is responsible for safely moving materials while maintaining strict inventory accuracy and adhering to food safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate understands the importance of cleanliness, compliance, and precision in a regulated environment.
Position: Forklift Operator/Inventory
Pay rate: $18/HR
Location: Sanger, CA. 93567
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, weekend availability required.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, or reach truck) to move raw materials and finished goods.
- Load, unload, and stage products in designated warehouse areas.
- Perform routine cycle counts and assist with inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain proper lot tracking, product rotation (FIFO), and inventory control.
- Follow all food safety (GMP), sanitation, and quality standards.
- Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies or issues.
- Accurately complete inventory and shipping/receiving documentation.
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and audit-ready at all times.
- Work closely with production, quality assurance, and warehouse teams.
Qualifications
- Previous 2–3-year forklift operating experience required.
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory control required.
- Experience in a food production or regulated environment preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain one).
- Basic math, counting, and data entry skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
