We are currently hiring a motivated General Labor Helper in Wichita, KS. You will be responsible for assisting the Driver in on-time delivery and sales of ice and related products including the merchandising of individual bags and full pallets. Temporary Assignment

Monday-Thursday 5am-2pm

Pay Rate: $15.00/HR

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting the Driver with safe delivery on time and sales of ice and related products including the merchandising of individual bags of full pallets.
• Accountable for applying safe work practices in all deliveries and operational practices.
• Delivers exceptional customer service to all Arctic Glacier's customers.
• Reviews paperwork daily for neatness and accuracy.
• Ensures cleanliness of delivery vehicle (interior and exterior)

Candidate Qualifications:

• High School Diploma Required.
• 1 year experience working in a distribution environment considered an asset.
• 1 year experience working in a similar role considered an asset.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Adaptability to meet the needs of the business.
• Will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business.

 

 Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to safely enter/exit the cab and tail of the delivery vehicle repeatedly.
• Must be able to lift 50Ibs repeatedly.
• Must be able to load and unload trailers.
• Must be able to push and pull using material handling equipment up to 300 lbs. repeatedly.
