Our client is a major manufacturer of sensor technology and wireless connectors for the aerospace field. We are looking for a few General Shop Associates to join our client’s main operation and workshop, located in Chatsworth, California.

This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a career in aerospace manufacturing. You will be responsible for sanding and working with fiberglass materials, utilizing power tools, and then washing them off.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position. First shift, from 6:45 am to 4:45 pm. Monday to Thursday. This is a 4/10 schedule, and you will have Fridays off.

This is what we are looking for in your candidacy:

• ·         You have 1-3 years of previous experience in Sanding, Deburring, or Machine Operations, or any similar mechanical position, such as auto work.
• ·         You are open to going into Manufacturing and Aerospace
• ·         You have utilized power tools before, like hammers and drills
• ·         You can take directions well
• ·         You can work independently when needed
• ·         You can abide by safety regulations, and you know common safety procedures
• ·         You are punctual and can arrive on time at the client’s location
