Exact Staff is hiring a dependable and hardworking General Metal Fabrication worker to join a growing metal fabrication team in Eugene, OR. This position plays a key role in supporting production by performing general metal fabrication and production operations while maintaining high quality and safety standards. This is a stable, full-time opportunity with weekly pay and room to grow, with hands-on training provided at an established metal fabrication company.

This position is ideal for individuals with manufacturing, production, fabrication, machine operation, metal finishing, warehouse, or industrial experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform general metal fabrication and production duties as assigned
• Handle and move metal materials and fabricated parts
• Assist with cutting, grinding, drilling, deburring, and finishing metal parts
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment as assigned
• Inspect completed parts for quality and report inconsistencies to the supervisor
• Follow work instructions and customer specifications
• Complete all required production paperwork accurately and on time
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
• Work cooperatively with production staff to meet customer deadlines
• Perform additional production duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Experience in metal fabrication or metal work a plus
• Experience using hand tools and power tools preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and prints a plus
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Basic math skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Willingness to complete required company training
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions in a manufacturing environment

Pay, Schedule, and Location:

• Pay Rate: $18.00–$20.00/hour, DOE
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
• Location: Eugene, OR
