We are hiring for an Industrial Maintenance Technician , whoinstalls, troubleshoots, and repairs a variety of equipment and machinery to support distribution and packaging operations. This role diagnoses problems, recommends solutions, and performs repairs across facility systems. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, building systems, and general infrastructure—essentially everything under the roof and some exterior systems as needed.

• Industrial Maintenance Technician 
• Location: Shafter, CA
• Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour
• Schedule: Full Time (must be flexible with hours and work Day & Swing shifts)

 

Responsibilities:

• Periodically change batteries for powered industrial equipment when needed.
• Perform a wide variety of building maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Perform electrical and mechanical calibrations and alignments on equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on multiple systems and equipment.
• Accurately complete daily maintenance reports and service documentation.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conserve company resources by using equipment and supplies effectively without waste.
• Use knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; report more complex issues to the Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and report unsafe conditions to the Supervisor.
• Utilize a variety of maintenance tools and equipment to perform work including wrenches, screwdrivers, hand tools, electrical testing devices (such as multimeters), and power tools.

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years of related maintenance or mechanical experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Hands-on experience using common maintenance tools, including hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible and able to quickly shift priorities as operational needs change.
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
