Legal Office Coordinator (Part-Time) – Probate & Litigation Support
Calabasas, CA | $24–$30/hr. DOE | Day Shift

A respected and fast-paced boutique law firm in Sherman Oaks is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Legal Office Coordinator to support attorneys across probate, litigation, corporate, and real estate matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate attorney calendars, court appearances, hearings, client meetings, and case deadlines
  • Prepare, revise, proofread, and finalize legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and filings
  • Manage e-filing, court logistics, service deadlines, and document tracking
  • Maintain organized physical and electronic client files while ensuring confidentiality and compliance
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, vendors, and opposing counsel
  • Assist with billing, timekeeping, administrative support, and general office coordination
  • Monitor deadlines and proactively support attorneys in managing workflow and priorities
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and sound judgment
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented office environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a law firm or legal department required
  • Probate required
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with legal formatting, court procedures, and e-filing systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, organization, and deadline management
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Professional demeanor with strong client-service skills
  • Self-starter who is reliable, adaptable, and collaborative
