Job Description:
Our client is a major player in fire protection products, specializing in setting up fire sprinkler systems for major commercial, residential, and manufacturing clients. We are seeking a smart and diligent Licensed Sprinkler Installer to join our client’s operation, located in the city of Newbury Park, CA.
Hours
This is a full-time, direct-hire position. First shift, from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
Summary:
As the Sprinkler Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing fire sprinkler systems, while ensuring that everything installed abides by the California Fire Code and safety regulations.
Additional responsibilities include:
· Setting up the fire sprinkler systems, according to the project plans and specifications provided by the project manager.
· Test and troubleshoot the fire sprinklers and ensure they are working properly.
· Assemble and install piping, fittings, alarms, and other related equipment
· Ensure that all installations comply with NFPA standards, as well as California state and local fire codes.
· Maintain documentation of the project
· Respond to service calls when needed.
This is what we will be looking for in your candidacy:
· You must possess a current and valid California Fire Sprinkler License/Certification
· You have at least 3+ years of experience in installing and servicing fire sprinklers.
· You have strong knowledge of NFPA codes and other fire protection systems
· You possess apt troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· You can work independently, as needed.
· You possess reliable transportation
