Exact Staff is hiring for our client. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Housing Maintenance Worker to help maintain residential properties, housing units, and community grounds. This is a full-time opportunity for an individual with hands-on experience in general maintenance, repairs, and preventative upkeep across multiple trades.

Responsibilities / Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair work in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general building maintenance
- Inspect housing units and facilities to identify repair needs and safety concerns
- Complete preventative and corrective maintenance on residential properties and grounds
- Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company procedures
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe working condition
- Assist with after-hours or emergency maintenance calls as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years of maintenance, facilities, or construction experience preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building systems
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools
- Valid California Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and perform physically demanding work
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in public housing, apartment communities, or government facilities
- HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certifications
- Experience using maintenance or work order tracking systems
Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Location: California
- Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
