Machine Operator – Night Shift – $17.50/hr + Shift Differential – Elkton, MD

Pay & Schedule

• $17.50 per hour + $0.75 shift differential
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• Training: Must be available to train on first shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) for 3–4 days

Responsibilities

• Weigh and stage rubber and chemicals for batching (pounds and grams).
• Operate mixers, extruders, pelletizers, and related equipment.
• Wrap, weigh, box, tape, palletize, and store finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas, including production floor, breakroom, and restrooms.

Qualifications

• MUST NOT be allergic to rubber or latex materials
• Little to no facial hair (small goatee or mustache acceptable)
• Must be able to comply with company policies
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
• High attention to detail

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. (with equipment assistance when available)
• Comfortable with standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout shift
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious
• Must be able to train on first shift before moving to nights
