Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Clerk for a well-known agriculture company in Arvin, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, processing work orders, and supporting maintenance staff with administrative tasks.
Temp to Hire
9:00pm-5:30am (Rotating Days Off)
Pay Rate: $16.50/HR
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update maintenance records, logs, and files.
- Create and close work orders in the maintenance management system.
- Monitor parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for timely reorders.
- Track usage of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Assist with scheduling maintenance activities and technician assignments.
- Generate regular reports related to maintenance operations and inventory.
- Communicate with various departments to ensure maintenance needs are addressed promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a clerical, administrative, or maintenance support role preferred.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on a night shift schedule.
- Comfortable working in an industrial or warehouse environment.
