We’re looking for a Maintenance Mechanic candidate with experience! The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the proper repair, servicing, and upkeep of the company’s equipment, machines, and tools. This role provides hands-on technical expertise, oversees preventive maintenance, and other maintenance to maintain safe and efficient operations within the production environment.

 

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic/Production Maintenance
Schedule: Mon - Fri (occasional Saturday if needed), temp-to-hire
Location: Denver, CO. 80239

Pay rate: $30-35/HR, DOE

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform machine changeovers and adjustments according to production schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machines, equipment, and tools as needed.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and machine inspections.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and clean maintenance department.
  • Requisition and track parts, tools, and supplies.
  • Direct, supervise, and support maintenance staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure production runs smoothly.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and training to maintenance personnel.
  • Enforce organizational policies and departmental procedures.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while fostering teamwork across departments.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of related work experience.
  • Vocational or technical training in a mechanical field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • 3 Phase Electrical Power & Industrial Control Circuitry
    • Electrical schematics, PLCs, and AC inverters
    • Pneumatic operations and controls
  • Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Knowledge of safety standards (e.g., Lockout/Tagout).
  • Welding experience (MIG, TIG, ARC) and metal fabrication for parts, guards, racks, etc.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, walk, type, climb ladders, and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to perform hands-on maintenance and repairs in a production setting.
