Job Description:
Exact Staff is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician – Level 1 to support daily maintenance operations within an industrial facility at our client's location. This entry-level role focuses on routine maintenance, inspections, and basic troubleshooting while working under the guidance of senior maintenance personnel. This position plays an important role in maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient equipment and facility operations.
- Location: City of Industry, CA
- Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
- Schedule: May include overtime, weekends, or flexible hours based on operational needs
- Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and inspections according to established schedules and procedures
- Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance to support equipment reliability
- Conduct basic troubleshooting to identify common equipment or facility issues
- Support senior maintenance technicians during repairs, equipment servicing, and maintenance projects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, and maintenance needs promptly
- Accurately document completed tasks, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding equipment status
Maintenance Technician Working Conditions
- May involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial environments
- Physical demands include standing, bending, lifting, and working around machinery
- Flexible scheduling may be required based on production or maintenance needs
Maintenance Technician Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical training in Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Basic mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn maintenance systems and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to perform physical job duties in an industrial environment
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
