Exact Staff is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for our client in Camarillo, CA, a manufacturing facility seeking a skilled professional to support ongoing production and facility operations. This role is responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring a safe, efficient production environment. This position is ideal for individuals with strong hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and contribute to continuous improvement. Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
• Operate and support PLC troubleshooting and system adjustments as needed
• Repair or replace faulty components, including welding and general facility repairs
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment schematics
• Maintain accurate records, work orders, and maintenance logs using CMMS software
• Support facility-related maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
• Assist in supervising or mentoring junior maintenance staff during shift operations
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, environmental standards, and company regulations
• Support production schedules by reducing downtime and maintaining operational efficiency

 

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in industrial or facility maintenance preferred
• Strong hands-on expertise in electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance systems
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment schematics
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
• Reliable attendance and strong time-management skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Prior experience working within a manufacturing environment or food or beverage industry required

 

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Pay Rate: $30/hour
• Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm and Sat 6am-2pm
• Location: Camarillo, CA
