Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our client’s medical team in Fresno! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front and back-office operations, with a focus on excellent patient care and communication skills. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in our medical practice, interacting directly with patients and ensuring a positive experience. This position requires motivation, dedication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

 

Job Type: Full-time.

Shift: Day, Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Responsibilities:

·         Make outgoing calls to schedule appointments and confirm schedules with patients.

·         Answer inbound calls and provide assistance to patients with inquiries.

·         Collect co-pays from patients and verify insurance eligibility.

·         Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel for efficient organization and management of tasks.

·         Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

·         Collaborate with team members and medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

·         Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.

·         Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

 

Qualifications:

·         Medical Assistant certification is required.

·         Current BLS Certificate

·         Minimum of 2 years of front and back-office experience in a medical setting.

·         Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking on the phone.

·         Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and Excel for scheduling and organization.

·         Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

·         Ability to handle a high volume of calls and patient interactions.

·         Clean background check and drug screening are mandatory.
