Tarzana, CA 91356 | Part-Time | Temporary | 3 Days Per Week (8:30 AM – 12:30 PM)

Exact Staff is hiring a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our client’s medical team in Tarzana, CA. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both front and back-office medical operations, with a focus on excellent patient care and customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment. This is a part-time, temporary opportunity with weekly pay.

This position is ideal for individuals with certified medical assistant experience in both front and back-office settings.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations and procedures
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain basic procedures
• Update and maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation
• Schedule appointments and assist with patient check-in and check-out
• Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally
• Maintain clean, organized examination rooms and medical equipment
• Follow infection control procedures and workplace safety guidelines
• Provide administrative and front-office support as needed

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Certification required
• Current BLS Certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of front and back-office experience in a medical setting
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls and patient interactions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel for scheduling and administrative tasks
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Additional medical documentation may be required for submission

Pay, Schedule, and Location:

• Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
• Schedule: Part-Time, 3 days per week
• Shifts Available: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
