Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mobile Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant to join our growing team. In this full-time position, you will provide high-quality specimen collection services to patients in their homes, workplaces, and healthcare settings. The ideal candidate is dependable, experienced, and committed to exceptional patient care.
- Location: Sacramento Ca 95834
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week; occasional weekends
- Starting Salary: $40,000–$50,000 annually
- Monthly Car Maintenance Stipend: $250
What You’ll Do
- Travel to patient locations using your own reliable vehicle
- Set up a mobile phlebotomy station ensuring safety and cleanliness
- Verify patient identity and explain procedures compassionately
- Performing venipunctures on patients of all ages and abilities
- Collect, label, and process specimens (including centrifugation)
- Record vitals, perform EKGs, and complete documentation accurately
- Ensure safe specimen transport and proper disposal of medical waste
- Deliver samples to labs or patient service centers promptly
- Communicate effectively with the operations and support team
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
Requirements
- Phlebotomy certification from an accredited national agency
- 5+ years of phlebotomy experience (mobile experience preferred)
- Proven ability to work with patients of all ages and abilities
- Proficient in venipuncture, centrifuging, EKGs, and specimen handling
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Tech-savvy with accurate typing/data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record
