City of Industry, CA | Full-Time | Day/Swing Shift (open to weekends as needed)
Exact Staff is hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance experience. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining conveyor systems, automation equipment, production machinery, and facility equipment. This is a steady, full-time opportunity with weekly pay and a great benefits package available upon hire.
This position is ideal for individuals with industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Troubleshoot, repair, reset, and test industrial machinery and production equipment
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
- Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, automation equipment, robots, and box elevators
- Install, set up, test, and prepare production equipment
- Replace mechanical components and machine parts
- Troubleshoot motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, shafts, and couplings
- Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and replace single- and three-phase motors
- Inspect equipment and identify potential maintenance issues
- Assist with HVAC defrosting and resetting
- Perform minor plumbing repairs and general facility upkeep
- Follow LOTO, GMP, SOP, and OSHA safety procedures
- Work with production teams to minimize equipment downtime
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Conveyor and automation experience
- Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Preventative maintenance experience
- Hands-on knowledge of conveyor systems, automation and robotics, production machinery, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts and chains, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, refrigeration, HVAC, air compressors, and electrical troubleshooting
- Experience with mechanical components such as gearboxes, speed reducers, drive pulleys, shafts, rollers, sprockets, chains, bearings, couplings, drive/conveyor belts, hydraulic components, pneumatic hoses and fittings, pumps, seals, filters, and gaskets
- Basic HVAC knowledge acceptable
- Safety-conscious and dependable
- Able to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Pay, Schedule, and Location:
- Pay Rate: $25.00/hour, DOE
- Schedule: Full-Time, Day/Swing Shift, open to weekends as needed
- Location: City of Industry, CA
