We are seeking an experienced Paralegal Assistant with extensive probate experience to join their growing team. This is an on-site position — not remote.

 

Location: Sherman Oaks, CA
Schedule: Monday – Thursday
Employment Type: Full-time, On-site
Pay Rate: $29.00 – $35.00/hr DOE

 

About the Role

As a Paralegal Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting attorneys and clients, with a primary focus on probate cases. This position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing sensitive legal documents. Probate experience is a plus but not required, and knowledge of estate planning is a strong plus.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
• Draft, review, and prepare legal documents related to probate cases.
• Maintain organized case files, documents, and manage strict deadlines.
• Utilize transcription software accurately and efficiently.
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for case tracking and reporting.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and team members.

 

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Paralegal Assistant in a legal setting.
• Proven probate experience is a must.
• Estate planning experience is a strong plus.
• Excellent typing skills and strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with transcription software and Microsoft Excel.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
