Exact Staff is hiring for our client a well-established, boutique law practice in Sherman Oaks. They are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly alongside a solo attorney in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced office where multitasking and attention to detail are essential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare, draft, and organize legal documents
• Utilize transcription software for document preparation
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional client support
• Maintain and organize client files and legal records
• Calendar important deadlines and case updates
• Update and maintain the office whiteboard with case statuses, notes, and important dates
• Assist with probate and estate planning matters from start to finish
• Perform administrative duties, filing, and other office support as needed
• Work independently while also collaborating closely with the attorney
• Handle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a legal office is required
• Probate experience is required
• Experience with Estate Planning is highly preferred
• Knowledge of Tax Law and Business Law is a plus

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Pay Rate: $28.00- $30.00/hr DOE
• Schedule: Part- Time
• Location: Sherman Oaks, CA
