Job Description:

We are currently seeking a reliable and personable Part-Time Receptionist to join our client’s team. The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to various departments within the organization. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.


Shift: Monday – Friday, Hours may vary

 

Responsibilities:

·         Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

·         Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department or individual.

·         Manage the reception area, always ensuring cleanliness and organization.

·         Assist with administrative tasks such as sorting mail, scheduling appointments, and maintaining office supplies.

·         Coordinate meeting room bookings and ensure rooms are prepared for meetings.

·         Process incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to the finance department.

·         Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for processing transactions, if applicable.

·         Respond to inquiries from clients, employees, and the public in a timely and courteous manner.

·         Maintain electronic and paper filing systems accurately.

·         Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management.

 

Requirements:

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.

·         Experience with processing invoices and operating POS systems is an asset.

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

·         Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

·         Professional demeanor and appearance.

·         Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

·         Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
